ABOUT RELIANCE CONSTRUCTION

Reliance Construction was founded by George Harris after having directly managed the successful completion of over 840M dollars of construction projects for various local Government and Federal Agencies over the past 20 years.

We are a General Contractor with a focus on safety and the building of high quality well managed projects. Our dedication to safety and commitment to our clients is a part of our culture, and it has been the cornerstone for building this company and successfully managing a diverse range of construction management and design/build construction projects. We are an SBA certified 8(a) and SDVOSB business that places an emphasis on serving our great nation.

Reliance Construction has been performing contracts on a large cross section of various construction and design disciplines since our inception in 2011. Reliance has performed multiple government contracts and is almost exclusively a Federal Contractor performing work for AFSPC, NAVFSC, USACE, DOS, DOD and many other non-DOD federal agencies in CONUS and increasingly in OCONUS locations.

Our company Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents and Specialized Personnel all have many years of experience within the industry and have immeasurable knowledge pertaining to Federal Contracts. As such, they are experts in both vertical and horizontal construction as well as associated building systems. This experience extends to both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build. Many of our accomplished Leaders and Project Managers have Secret and Top-Secret Clearances. These essential clearances allow for extensive work experiences on projects that contain confidential data and require effective communication with sensitive information.

Our approach to safety is to have zero accidents. Anything less is to admit that accidents are acceptable. Throughout our organization, from management to subcontractor to laborers, we actively promote a zero accident culture. We,as well as all our subcontractors, suppliers and vendors, are responsible for adhering to our safety program as well as to any applicable, State, Local or Federal rules and regulations and OSHA standards. All our safety managers have completed a 30-hour OSHA course.

Reliance Construction Company understands the owners need for a quality project and demands quality work from all subcontractors. Our team approach allows for open communication for all those to achieve the quality that is essential to meeting owner's expectations and contract requirements. Our Quality Control Managers and Superintendents work in harmony to implement quality standards and inspection and testing protocol ensuring that all on-site personnel understand, adhere to and make all quality control procedures second nature.
